Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vendor Manager/ Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, procurement processes, cost control, and compliance to ensure smooth operations aligned with the organization’s evolving goals.

Key Responsibilities:S

  • Ensure strong policy adherence and implementation, supporting both short-term and long-term organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor engagement terms, contracts, and relationships.
  • Conduct vendor qualification, verification, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Maintain project-wise cost centers and procurement trail bookkeeping.
  • Implement cost control measures across all procurement activities.
  • Maintain audit-ready trails for all procured items.
  • Prepare procurement projections and reports.
  • Evaluate vendors through rating/grading based on transaction history and performance.
  • Update and maintain the central vendor data repository.
  • Continuously identify better options for recurring goods and services consumption.
  • Conduct technical product analysis to support procurement decisions.
  • Liaise with internal teams for procurement needs, approvals, and process compliance.
  • Submit monthly/quarterly procurement reports to the leadership team.
  • Implement and manage the vendor payment cycle.
  • Provide budgetary allocation requirements for all procurement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management processes, policy implementation, and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform technical product analysis.
  • Proficient in maintaining procurement records, vendor rating, and audit trails.
  • Strong communication and liaison skills with internal teams and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Bangalore-based operations is a plus.
  • Exposure to procurement software/tools or ERP systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
