Procurement Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and executing procurement strategies that drive efficiency and cost savings. This position requires strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Analyze market trends and forecasts to identify potential procurement opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement needs and objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for management review.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-12 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of procurement and contract management.
