Procurement Incharge

to manage end-to-end procurement of aircraft spares, tools, consumables, and engineering materials for MRO operations. The role ensures timely sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and compliance with engineering and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of aircraft spares, BFE, consumables, tools, and modification/retrofit material.
  • Coordinate with Engineering for technical requirements and material specifications.
  • Lead vendor negotiations, performance tracking, and dispute resolution.
  • Drive cost-effective sourcing and strategic procurement decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to reliability standards, quality norms, and compliance guidelines.
  • Oversee resource allocation, purchase planning, and backlog reduction.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Management Unit (CMU) for contract reviews and terms finalization.

Minimum

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 6–7 years of procurement or supply chain experience

Desired

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in aviation supply chain, technical purchasing, warehouse & logistics, repair management, or material planning
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance spares purchasing or airline/MRO environment preferred
