Job Description

Role Overview

As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of indirect materials, equipment, services, and MRO items. You will work closely with internal teams to understand requirements, identify suitable vendors, and ensure timely delivery of materials. The role demands strong coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills to keep operations running smoothly. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of processes, this role also values market awareness and a proactive approach.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage end-to-end procurement of indirect materials, equipment & spares, machinery, services, and MRO items.
  • Handle vendor enquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate terms, and issue Purchase Orders in line with company processes.
  • Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply delays or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on procurement status.
  • Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, compliance requirements, and documentation standards.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support cost-effective and reliable sourcing.
  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing movements, and supplier dynamics to make informed procurement decisions.


Essential skills & Qualifications


  • B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration (preferred but not required).
  • 2–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
  • Knowledge of chemicals procurement is an added advantage (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor evaluation, and PO management.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with good documentation and compliance awareness.
