About the Role -

Purchase Associate

Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding reliable vendors/suppliers.

Manage purchase orders – creation, follow-up, and closure.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors.

Track inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions to avoid stockouts.

Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships.

Ensure compliance with company’s procurement policies and procedures.

Collaborate with finance for invoice processing and payment settlements.

Coordinate with internal teams (operations, production, etc.) to understand purchase requirements.

Monitor quality and timely delivery of goods.

Prepare reports on purchase status, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
