Handle procurement of industrial valves, instrumentation valves, tube fittings, and related piping components.
Review and analyze technical specifications, datasheets, and product drawings.
Identify and finalize vendors with expertise in valves, double ferrule fittings, compression fittings, ball valves, needle valves, check valves, etc.
Float RFQs, compare competitive quotations, and conduct commercial and technical evaluations.
Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Track purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely material delivery.
Maintain accurate vendor and procurement documentation, including test certificates and inspection reports.
Work closely with quality, engineering, and stores teams to manage inventory and resolve supply chain issues.
Keep up-to-date records for ISO compliance and audit readiness.
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or related discipline.
1–3 years of procurement experience in valves, instrumentation fittings, or piping products.
Sound understanding of industrial standards (ISO, ASTM, ASME, ANSI).
Strong knowledge of valve types, specifications, and end-use applications.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and preferably ERP/SAP systems.
Good communication, negotiation, and vendor development skills.
