Key Responsibilities
Support the bid management and tendering process for medical equipment, hospital infrastructure, and healthcare services for all third-party OEM products and services including Turnkey.Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to third party suppliers in alignment with project timelines and technical specifications.Evaluate vendor proposals, conduct commercial and technical bid analysis, and support negotiation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Bid Management, Sales, Modality, Customer Service, Project Management and Commercial to finalize procurement decisions.Develop and maintain pricing models and cost benchmarks for key commodities and local bought outs / services. Ensure compliance with healthcare procurement regulations, quality standards, and internal policies, guidelines and directives. Maintain accurate documentation for audits, and reporting. Market AnalysisStay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives to ensure procurement contribution towards growth. Supplier ManagementBuild and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring long term strategic supplier relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical, or equivalent).5"“7 years of procurement experience in the healthcare, hospital, or medical equipment industry.Proven experience in bid management, tendering, and pricing analysis.Strong understanding of healthcare procurement. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) , MS Oice Applications and analysis tools. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and market trends.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
