Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new systems, workflows, and process documentation to improve coordination and control in process.
  • Review existing systems in production, quality, HR, and other functions for improvement opportunities.
  • Upgrade current procedures into standardized systems with clear accountability and tracking methods.
  • Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure effective deployment and compliance at all levels.
  • Design system audit checklists and ensure timely internal reviews to measure adherence.
  • Conduct process mapping and data analysis to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and root causes of performance issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring operational or quality-related problems.
  • Lead improvement projects using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone), and Poka-Yoke.
  • Ensure process upgrades directly contribute to productivity, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, HR, and Maintenance to understand process gaps and design integrated solutions.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops with department heads to establish uniform systems across divisions.
  • Ensure that corrective actions taken in one department do not negatively impact others — promote total system balance.
  • Support digitalization and automation of manual systems where possible for efficiency and transparency.
  • Analyse issues in productivity, rejection, absenteeism, or communication and develop structured countermeasures.
  • Introduce monitoring mechanisms to ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
  • Maintain a log of system deviations, action plans, and implementation status for management review.
  • Lead review meetings with cross-functional teams to track problem resolution and share lessons learned.

Key Skills Required

  • Process mapping & bottleneck handling
  • Lean / Kaizen project experience
  • System creation or SOP ownership
  • Data-based decision examples
  • How they handled resistance to change
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP or MIS tools for reporting.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Good communication skill

Qualification & Experience

  • Any Degree / Diploma in Textile / Supply Chain / Operations Management.
  • 5 to 7 years in process improvement, operations, or system implementation roles within a manufacturing setup.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
