This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Product Manager - Platform in India.

As a Principal Product Manager for Platform, you will lead the strategy, development, and success of foundational platform products that power critical services across the organization. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, defining scalable, high-performing solutions while ensuring excellent developer experiences. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, security, and business teams to drive adoption, optimize workflows, and leverage modern architectures including cloud-native, microservices, serverless, and event-driven designs. You will champion platform services internally, guide product roadmaps, and use AI-driven insights to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. This position offers the chance to influence core platform capabilities, promote innovation, and deliver measurable impact in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of platform products, from strategic planning to execution, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation
  • Own horizontal platform capabilities including Identity and Access Control, OpenAPI interfaces, and authorization frameworks
  • Define product strategy and roadmaps in close collaboration with engineering, security, and business teams
  • Drive a developer-centric approach, improving onboarding, documentation, and overall developer experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, gather requirements, and ensure platform adoption
  • Track KPIs and metrics to monitor product performance, user satisfaction, and adoption
  • Leverage AI tools to optimize workflows, analyze data, and enhance product lifecycle decision-making

Requirements

  • 15+ years of product management experience, including ownership of large-scale technology platforms and developer-facing products
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS business models, Microservices, Serverless, Event-Driven Architectures, and API-first design
  • Experience managing Identity and Access Control (AuthN/AuthZ), OpenAPI, or platform security workflows
  • Familiarity with AI tools for product management and the ability to enhance productivity through AI-driven insights
  • Proven ability to create platform services with strong developer empathy, focusing on onboarding, authentication, and lifecycle management
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, prioritization abilities, and strategic decision-making experience
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and execution skills, including creation of detailed product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Technical foundation preferred (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field); advanced degrees (M.S., MBA) are a plus
