Principal Engineer

As a Process Engineering Design Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in project delivery, design management, and project management. Your focus will be on positioning and winning projects across various services. Your responsibilities will include contributing in a senior capacity to ensure efficient and compliant process engineering design delivery, overseeing quality technical design output, and collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering, and design leaders to create project opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute in a senior role to the efficient and compliant delivery of process engineering design on projects, reporting to Project Managers/Process Engineering Manager. - Ensure quality technical design output, technical governance, coordination, and interface within a multidisciplinary project team. - Provide day-to-day engineering design support and liaise with clients regarding process engineering issues, taking design responsibility for specific parts of the engineering works on the project. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical engineering. - 12 to 16 years of experience in manufacturing projects within Industrial, Chemical, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical sectors. - Lead process engineering design activities for Energy and Industrial projects from Basic, FEED to detailed engineering. - Conduct process simulations, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing for optimal process designs. - Perform process safety studies like HAZOP, SIL, and PHA to identify and mitigate potential hazards. - Develop process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and process control narratives. - Provide technical support to multidisciplinary project teams, collaborate with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. - Lead process optimization initiatives, conduct feasibility studies, and cost estimates for new projects and plant modifications. - Knowledge of various technologies including PV, Industrial process systems, Downstream, Clean Utilities, Semiconductor, and water technologies. - Experience in preparing bid and purchase specifications for process and clean utility equipment, calculating loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design. - Proficiency in software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, EDR, Aspen Flare System Analyzer, PipeFlo, AFT Fathom & Arrow, HTRI, FlexSim, and Plant design software. - Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, client-facing, and communication skills. - Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas. - Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.,
