Job Overview:

Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Execution & Delivery

• Ensuring high-quality software development, oversee software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure timely project deliveries.
• Implement Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
• Define and track engineering KPIs and SLAs to measure team productivity and project timelines.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to align development efforts with business goals.

2. Engineering Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Define team structures, recruitment needs, and career development paths.
• Promote a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to align development with company objectives. Provide updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, and challenges.

. Infrastructure, Security & Compliance Support

• Coordinate with the infrastructure team to ensure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) maintains fault tolerance and scalability.
• Assist in reviewing and refining system architectures to enhance availability and security, in collaboration with senior technology leadership.
• Manage DevOps workflows and automation pipelines, ensuring smooth CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure upkeep.
• Support security teams in implementing Zero-Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA), secure API integrations, and compliance with SOC2, GDPR, and ISO.
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) by tracking RTO/RPO, ensuring failover mechanisms, and minimizing downtime.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role building solutions using PHP, Python Django & vue js
• Strong expertise in:
• Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Agile development methodologies
• DevOps and CI/CD implementation
• System scalability and optimization
• Hands-on experience in programming and architectural decision-making.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to drive engineering team success.
