1. Purpose of the role

The primary objective of the position is delivery of all standard sales reports, News Demands & Projects from the GCC across NAZ. The position will also be responsible for generating new initiatives which will bring value to the business and handle sales teams queries.

  • Support on tracking and monitoring of Sales KPI’s
  • Analyze data which affects sales and provide suggestions to close gaps
  • Understanding of KPIs (volume and sales KPIs) to analyze data and provide insights to support Business in implementing action plans
  • Support Sales team with any Adhocs requests


2. Key tasks & accountabilities

Sales reporting for the NAZ scope:


  • Ability to solve problem quickly and effectively applying logical thinking to be able to resolve the issues for the Sales Team with minimum impact to Business
  • Handling large data sets to connect data points and provide reports/analysis to the stakeholders to generate actionable insights for the Sales Team.
  • Excel/Power BI/Qlik expertise to create self-serviceable dashboards to provide meaningful and actionable inputs to the Business
  • Work with minimal support on unstructured data sets inculcating the Principle of Ownership.
  • Developing business-friendly presentations, transforming thoughts into key actions for business and showing the end results which resulted from these interventions
  • Preparing closure dashboards/presentations for Weekly/Monthly

    Sales performance reviews

    to showcase what went well, what gaps exist and what can we do to close these gaps (Root Cause Analysis)
  • Understanding of Sales Processes and Systems to enable the individual in the role to provide good actionable/insightful and timely inputs to Sales Team
  • Working with multiple data sources like Nielsen, Salesforce, SAP, MS Access, Qlik & Flat files
  • Ensure deliverables are Accurate, on Time and to the best satisfaction of the stakeholders.
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills with Precise and Timely communication so that any issue that arises can be resolved in quick time.
  • Ad-hoc reporting on effectiveness of KPI’s which impact the performance of the Sales team
  • Find opportunities to identify Process efficiency in the existing process and take initiatives to take it to closure

Timeline Definition for Ad-hoc business issue:

  • Independently decide Time Estimation and Timeline Definition for every approved Request
  • Responsible for communicating timelines to the stakeholders..


3. Qualifications, Experience, Skills

Level of educational attainment required:

  • Graduate/Masters in the field of Business, Marketing, Analytics, or other equivalent degree or work experience

Previous work experience required:

  • 4 years + of professional experience with prior experience in FMCG, Retail Insights & analytics or consulting companies
  • Ideal candidate should have right mix of Business Context, Data and Technology skills.
  • Prior experience in managing and working with multiple data sources.
  • Strong communication skills

Technical skills required:

  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint (Must Have)
  • Advanced Visual management: Advance Power BI (Must Have)
  • Statistical knowledge for deep diving data (Must Have)
  • Python
  • SQL
