Responsibilities: -

1. Solution Consulting & Technical Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and presentations to showcase technical capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions aligned with customer environments.

2. Proposal & Documentation

  • Prepare technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Draft solution architecture, scope of work, and detailed technical documentation.
  • Support sales in pricing discussions with technical inputs and solution justification.

3. Customer Engagement

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for prospects and customers.
  • Address technical queries, objections, and compliance requirements during the sales cycle.
  • Build relationships with customer IT teams, CISOs, CIOs, and other stakeholders.

4. Collaboration & Knowledge Building

  • Work closely with OEMs, channel partners, and internal delivery teams to design tailored solutions.
  • Continuously update knowledge of emerging technologies, security frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Provide feedback to product and delivery teams for solution enhancement.

5. Training & Enablement

  • Support sales team through technical training, demos, and solution awareness.
  • Conduct internal sessions to keep the team updated on latest technologies and solutions.


Requirements: -

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
  • 3–7 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles.
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity, networking, cloud, or IT infrastructure is strongly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains: SOC, SIEM, endpoint security, API security, cloud security, firewalls, identity management, etc.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, RBI, HIPAA).
  • Hands-on exposure to preparing solution architectures and deployment models.
  • Familiarity with OEM technologies (Palo Alto,Cynet, Netskope, Fortinet etc.) is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and solutioning mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Good documentation and proposal writing skills.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work across sales, delivery, and partner teams.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, POCs, and events.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-evolving technology landscape.
  • Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
