Key Responsibilities

• Academic Planning & Curriculum Implementation
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and activities for Nursery to Grade 2.
• Ensure alignment with CBSE guidelines and school academic standards.
• Oversee teaching-learning processes and maintain consistency across all pre-primary and primary classes (Nursery–Grade 2).
• Monitor syllabus completion and learning outcomes.
• Teacher Management & Support
• Guide, mentor, and support pre-primary and primary teachers.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs for teachers.
• Ensure teachers follow school policies, teaching methodologies, and documentation standards.
• Student Development & Well-being
• Ensure holistic development—academic, social, emotional, and physical—of all students.
• Track student progress and implement interventions wherever required.
• Address special learning needs and coordinate with parents/counsellors when necessary.
• Parent Communication & Coordination
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress, behavior, and concerns.
• Conduct Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and orientation sessions.
• Maintain positive relationships and ensure transparency with all stakeholders.
• Administrative Responsibilities
• Prepare academic reports, timetables, curriculum planners, and event schedules.
• Coordinate with school leadership for audits, inspections, and academic reviews.
• Manage classroom resources, teaching-learning materials, and activity planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and school operational standards.
• Event & Activity Planning
• Plan and execute school events, celebrations, assemblies, and academic activities for Nursery–Grade 2.
• Oversee co-curricular and extra-curricular programs to support experiential learning.
