Job Title: Lower Secondary Mathematics Teacher Grades: Grade 6 to Grade VIII Curriculum: IGCSE (Cambridge International) Location: Kanakia International School Bhayander Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging math lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Lower Secondary Maths Curriculum. Ensure effective coverage of topics including number, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability. Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater to varied learning styles and abilities. Assess, track, and report student progress through regular formative and summative assessments. Use technology and digital tools to enhance math teaching and learning. Prepare students for internal assessments and project-based learning tasks. Maintain a stimulating, organized, and resource-rich learning environment. Provide academic support and mentorship to students as needed. Participate in school events, professional development programs, and departmental meetings. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferably with experience in international curricula). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a Cambridge/IGCSE or international school. Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching mathematics. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
