Description SDET Playwright must Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience in automated testing using Playwright. Technical Skills: Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with Playwright for browser automation. Familiarity with Mocha or other testing frameworks. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Testing Principles: Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Experience with both functional and non-functional testing. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Job responsibilities Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Mocha. Create reusable and modular test components to maximize efficiency and maintainability. Test Scenario Identification: Collaborate with the QA team to identify and analyze test scenarios based on user stories and requirements. Participate in the review of user stories to ensure testability. Test Case Creation: Develop comprehensive test cases for both new and existing features. Ensure test cases cover functional, performance, and security aspects of the application. Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test suites and analyze results. Report and document defects, providing detailed information for effective troubleshooting. Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. Collaborate with the development team to ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build process. Maintain Test Environments: Set up and maintain test environments, including test data and configurations. Ensure consistency between test environments and production. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application features and behaviors. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on testing strategies. Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
