Position: Plant Manager – Renewable Energy Manufacturing Location: India (Onsite at new facility) Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to lead the setup and operational management of a new manufacturing site in India. This facility will play a critical role in our global renewable energy supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in greenfield plant establishment and high-standard manufacturing operations, particularly in the new energy sector (e.g., wind, solar, battery, or other clean tech components). Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire greenfield plant setup, including construction planning, equipment procurement, team building, and SOP implementation Manage full-cycle manufacturing operations, ensuring excellence in productivity, safety, quality, and cost control Collaborate with global and regional technical teams to localize and industrialize renewable energy components Drive lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and digital factory transformation Build and lead a cross-functional team (Production, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, Supply Chain) Ensure compliance with local laws, labor regulations, and company-level EHS and operational standards Take ownership of plant budgeting, capacity ramp-up, and long-term operational excellence Represent the plant in internal and external stakeholder engagements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, including greenfield plant setup Background in renewable energy, composites, automotive, or other complex manufacturing sectors is preferred Deep understanding of operational excellence tools (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma) Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills Fluent in English
