Plant Manager

Job Title: RMC Plant Manager Location: Lucknow Department: Operations Reporting To: General Manager / Head of Operations Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in RMC plant operations or construction material industry Qualification: minimum 12th pass with relevant experience Job Summary:The RMC Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Ready-Mix Concrete plant, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete while maintaining a safe, efficient, and cost-effective working environment. This role involves managing plant staff, scheduling production, maintaining equipment, and ensuring timely delivery of concrete to project sites. Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise all RMC plant operations including batching, dispatching, and maintenance. Ensure production meets quality standards and customer specifications. Coordinate with site engineers and logistics teams for timely delivery of concrete. Monitor raw material inventory (cement, aggregates, admixtures, etc.) and coordinate with the procurement team. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain plant equipment and plan preventive maintenance schedules. Generate daily production reports and analyze performance metrics. Train and supervise plant personnel including operators, drivers, and helpers. Manage cost control, wastage, and optimize resource utilization. Liaise with QA/QC department to address product quality issues. Implement and maintain ISO/QC standards and certifications (if applicable). Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of RMC production processes and concrete mix designs. Ability to troubleshoot batching equipment and manage maintenance schedules. Leadership and team management skills. Good understanding of safety protocols and quality control practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, batching software (e.g., Command Alkon, SIMEM, or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications:Experience with automated batching systems. Knowledge of local regulations and environmental compliance. Previous experience managing multiple RMC plants (if applicable).
