Plant Manager

Role & responsibilities

Food Production Operations:

• Lead the Plant production team covering all operations of production & Utilities.
• Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement and develop guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor (SOP).
• Monitoring the Product quality & conducting process control analysis for finished goods for the production operations.
• Develop and mentor department supervisors and employees, fostering a skilled and engaged team.
• Champion safety programs to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
• Oversee quality systems to meet company and customer standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Manage the departments budget, ensuring financial goals are met through effective scheduling and resource management.
• Collaborate to build strong working relationships and a positive work culture.
• Implement and uphold company policies fairly and consistently.
• Ensure high productivity and cost-efficiency through effective management of production operations and maintenance.

Qualification :

• College degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a related field, or similar work experience in a related industry.
• 15+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proficient in computer systems, with familiarity or ability to learn manufacturing systems.

• Languages known:

Marathi should be fluent, English as a business language.

Preferable applicants from Maharashtra.
