This role requires a go-getter who is prepared for frequent travel to collection sites and possesses excellent negotiation skills to secure supply from farmers and cooperatives. Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Development: Develop, implement, and manage a robust and efficient supply chain for the collection of diverse biomass materials, including various types of agricultural residue. Procurement & Negotiation : Negotiate and finalize procurement agreements with individual farmers, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), and agricultural cooperatives to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of raw material. Site Management & Travel : Must be ready to travel to sites as required to oversee collection, quality control, and logistics operations. Frequent travel will be an essential component of the role. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners for the timely and efficient transportation of collected biomass to the processing facility. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures at collection points to ensure the biomass meets required specifications (e.g., moisture content, contamination levels). Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with local farming communities and key stakeholders. Conversant with Various Government data: The applicant should have good knowledge of government published data on crops (eg E-Pik Pahani data for Maharashtra etc). Qualifications & Skills • Field Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage field operations, procurement, and logistics, preferably within the agricultural or commodity sector. Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable agreements. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Marathi is a must for effective communication and negotiation with local farmers and cooperatives. Travel Readiness: Must be willing and able to undertake frequent travel to collection sites in and around the Nagpur region and beyond, as required. Personal Attributes: A highly proactive "go-getter" with strong organizational skills, capable of independent decision-making and managing a dispersed team or network. This is a hands-on role requiring a self-starter and go-getter who can manage all day-to-day operations independently, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management : Manage all daily plant operations, including production scheduling, inventory control, maintenance, and quality assurance. Performance & Efficiency : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs. Team Leadership : Oversee and manage all plant personnel, including hiring , training, performance management, and fostering a positive and safe working environment. Maintenance & Safety : Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained and operated safely and efficiently. Strict adherence to all local and national safety and environmental regulations is mandatory. Independent Management : Act as the primary decision-maker for day-to-day operational issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage the facility with minimal supervision. Local Compliance : Ensure all plant activities comply with local regulations and industry standards. Qualifications & Skills Experience : A minimum of 10 years of proven experience managing operations in a small to mid-industrial manufacturing plant. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of industrial processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control systems. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Marathi is a must for effective communication with local staff, suppliers, and authorities. Commute: Must have their own reliable means of commute to and from the Virli, Nagpur location. Personal Attributes: Must be a highly motivated "go-getter" with exceptional leadership, organizational, and independent management capabilities.
