Plant Head

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to oversee the complete operations of our Copper Anode Plant. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of copper processing, plant management, safety standards, and production optimization. This role requires leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to manage a large team while ensuring high production efficiency of 10,000-15,000 metric ton.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including smelting, refining, casting, and copper anode production.
• Ensure consistent production output that meets quality standards and timelines.
• Monitor daily production reports and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Process Optimization

• Improve plant efficiency through process engineering and technological upgrades.
• Reduce operational costs while maintaining product quality.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Quality Control

• Ensure copper anode production meets industry specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with quality teams for testing, analysis, and compliance.

Maintenance & Safety

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and statutory norms.
• Develop and oversee safety training programs for plant staff.

Team Management

• Lead, train, and mentor supervisors, engineers, and operations staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and build strong operational teams.
• Coordinate with HR for recruitment and manpower planning.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare annual budgets, cost estimates, and production forecasts.
• Report plant performance to senior management.
• Maintain documentation regarding production, raw materials, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10–15 years in copper smelting/refining, copper anode processing, or related metallurgical operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or plant head role.
• Education: Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of furnace operations, electrolytic refining, casting, and metallurgical processes.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning, budgeting, and team management.

Compensation:

• Salary: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
