Plant Head (Steel Fabrication)

Position Overview:
The Plant Head will lead and manage the entire steel fabrication plant operations, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in steel fabrication processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while meeting customer and organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.Ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machines, materials).

Production & Quality:
Supervise fabrication processes: cutting, welding, machining, assembly and finishing.Implement and monitor quality assurance systems to meet industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.).Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).

People Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop plant staff across departments.Foster a culture of safety, accountability and teamwork.Manage workforce planning, training and performance evaluation.

Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental norms, and safety standards.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

Financial & Strategic Planning:
Control plant budgets, reduce operational costs, and improve profitability.Align plant operations with organizational strategic goals.Prepare MIS reports for management review.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors for smooth execution.Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality products.
