Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations & Production Management

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of AHUs and related products.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet customer delivery timelines.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and optimize production costs.

• Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure products meet ISO/EN/Eurovent standards.
• Establish strict QA/QC protocols and reduce rejection/rework rates.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of processes.

• Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Train, mentor, and upskill the workforce to meet technical and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.

• Inventory, Supply Chain & Vendor Coordination

• Manage raw material (sheet metal, motors, copper, heat exchangers) procurement in coordination with supply chain.
• Monitor stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure JIT (Just-In-Time) practices.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery and quality assurance.

• Process & Plant Efficiency

• Drive automation and process improvements in fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Ensure maximum plant utilization and reduce downtime.
• Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and other performance metrics.

• Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure 100% compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
• Conduct regular audits, safety drills, and preventive maintenance checks.

• Reporting & Coordination

• Report production KPIs, cost metrics, and plant performance to senior management.
• Work closely with R&D, Design, and Sales teams to align production with market demand.

    – Maintain <2% rejection/rework rate.

    – Build and retain a skilled, motivated workforce.

    – Achieve zero major safety incidents.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Production output vs. target (units/month).
• On-time delivery rate (%).
• Scrap and rework percentage.
• Production cost per unit (vs. budgeted).
• Machine downtime hours (MTBF, MTTR).
• Employee productivity (output/worker/hour).
• Compliance – Zero non-conformance in quality and safety audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• 8–12 years of experience in plant/production management, preferably in HVAC, AHU, or sheet metal fabrication industries.
• Strong exposure to 

  lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and quality systems

  .
• Proven leadership skills in handling large teams.
• Experience in vendor coordination and ERP-driven production systems.
• Ability to balance production efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
