Plant Head

• Lead and oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring smooth functioning across production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet delivery timelines and cost targets.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and efficiency in the lighter manufacturing process.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and statutory compliance (Labor Laws, EHS, ISO standards).
• Monitor inventory, raw material consumption, and coordinate with supply chain/procurement for material availability.
• Control operational costs and optimize resource utilization.
• Lead, train, and motivate a workforce including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for machines.
• Coordinate with management for strategic decisions and business planning.
• Prepare and present MIS reports on production, quality, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of

  manufacturing operations, production planning, and quality management

• Experience in

  lighter/consumer goods/automobile/assembly line industry

  preferred.
• Mandatory ERP software expertise (SAP / Oracle / Tally ERP or similar).
• Leadership and people management skills with the ability to handle large teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in

  Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering

  (MBA preferred).

• 8–10 years of manufacturing experience

  , with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in lighter or consumer durable manufacturing.
