Ensuring compliance with the ASME, ASTM, AWS etc. standards 8. Familiarity with metallurgy, heat treatment, and material behavior under stress 9.Participation in the New Product Development 10.Participation in the Technology Development 11.Training and development of the Welding Operators. Should have good communication skills Preferred candidate profile B.Tech Mechanical with 5+ years of relevant experience in TIG welding. Ensuring the laid down QMS procedures are implemented in the Organization Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems. Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organizations products. Identify root cause and enable permanent corrective actions for product quality issues. Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier & customer) Report to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement. Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality. Preparation of monthly quality reports & presentations. Conducting Monthly Management Reviews Carry out product and process auditing. Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management systems Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements.
Qualification : B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical Experience : 15+ years of experience in the manufacture/ production and operations. Fabrication experience will be an added advantage. Must be familiar with Engineering Drawings. Should have some experience in PPC. Skill set : Knowledge of modern production planning tools used in manufacturing industries - ERP and Project Management, working knowledge of electrical control panels, proficiency in MS-Word and MS-Excel. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, Working knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Expertise in Development & implementation of necessary documentation of QMS, Customer audits and other safety audits. Expertise in Team building & team leading towards achieving the organization requirements. Responsibilities: Reporting to top management with current production status based on output plans. Understanding the Organization goals & schedules and execute them with specific time lines Coordination with production executives, purchase, stores and stores to drive and ensure adherence to released output plans. Preparation of formal status reports, Gantt/PERT charts for periodic review by top management. Availability on call or on shop floor for extended hours, based on activity levels and needs of the time. Value addition to production activity record keeping and QC control measures by studying processes. Conduct of time and motion studies for specific processes to optimize production time and costs. Monitoring of compliance with safety standards, QMS norms (as a support to QC only). Development of sub vendors for outsourcing activities. Track the job execution with sub vendors and reconcile the materials Updation of production related activities into the ERP (consumptions, machine hours, etc.). Accountable for Resource utilisation and ensure proper entries in ERP to prepare production / MIS reports. Ensure the availability of Tooling in advance and maintain the life cycle of the tools being used in production. Making decisions about Equipment use and maintenance. Identification of production bottlenecks andensure the line balancing on continual basis by Capex planning. Implementation of Kaizen for process improvement. Plan all materials and consumables in advance and ensure optimal utilization of all resources in coordination with SCM team. Time to time coordination with concerned departments for smooth work flow .
Qualification : B.Tech Electrical or Mechanical Experience : 10+ years of relevant experience in PPC (Production Planning & Control) in a manufacturing setup. Knowledge of Diesel sets & client management. Responsibilities : Understanding the Organization goals & schedules and execute them with specific time lines Must have hands on experience in any Engineering / Fabrication industry.
