Role & responsibilities 1. WPS and WPQR document creation and maintenance. 2. Improvement of the welding process. Deep understanding of welding process and physics. 3. Improvement of welding fixtures. 4. Troubleshooting welding problems and defects. 5. Understanding welding measure methods. 6. Welding machine and accessories calibration and maintenance 7. Ensuring compliance with the ASME, ASTM, AWS etc. standards 8. Familiarity with metallurgy, heat treatment, and material behavior under stress 9.Participation in the New Product Development 10.Participation in the Technology Development 11.Training and development of the Welding Operators. Should have good communication skills Preferred candidate profile B.Tech Mechanical with 5+ years of relevant experience in TIG welding.
