Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Head to lead and manage end-to-end operations of our fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will have 8 –15+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale steel fabrication, with a track record of improving productivity, maintaining quality, and ensuring on-time project delivery.
This is a leadership position that reports directly to the management and requires strong team management, production planning, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the fabrication unit including production, quality control, maintenance, and dispatch.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee manpower planning, shop floor supervision, and shift management.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, drawing specifications, welding & fabrication standards.
• Coordinate with purchase, stores, logistics, and project execution teams.
• Monitor plant KPIs (productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, safety).
• Ensure plant compliance with all statutory and safety norms.
• Drive vendor development, cost optimization, and equipment upkeep.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on problem-solving for fabrication challenges.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in large-scale steel fabrication or related heavy engineering industry.
• Prior experience as a Plant Head / Production Head or equivalent in a fabrication unit is essential.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, surface prep, galvanizing).
• Familiarity with ISO standards, QA/QC protocols, and industry-specific norms.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Strong planning, reporting, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
