Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head with a strong background in compounding engineering polymers such as SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, operations, and process optimization at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily plant operations and ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Lead and manage teams across production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
Develop and implement process improvements for polymer compounding lines (SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.).
Ensure adherence to production targets, timelines, and cost parameters.
Maintain high standards of quality control, process compliance, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with R&D and technical teams for product trials and scale-ups.
Manage plant budgets, inventory, raw material planning, and vendor coordination.

Requirements:

Diploma / BTECH from CIPET or any other similar reputed institute in Plastic Engineering / Technology
7+ years of experience in polymer compounding, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Deep technical knowledge of compounding processes for engineering polymers like SAN, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.
Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Hands-on experience in implementing lean manufacturing or process optimization tools is preferred.
