Planning, Procurement, and Inventory Control Manager
to oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations with a strong focus on
inventory management and ERP systems

10 years of expertise
in procurement, inventory control, supply chain planning, and vendor management, with proven success in streamlining processes and ensuring cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance operational efficiency with long-term supply chain planning, while driving continuous improvements to support business growth.As a key leader within the organization, the Manager will ensure seamless coordination across departments, optimize material flow, improve forecasting accuracy, and maintain inventory integrity. The role demands strong decision-making, leadership, and analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and execute strategic supply chain and procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee demand forecasting and production planning to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Monitor market trends, raw material availability, and business needs to optimize procurement cycles.
- Procurement Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation.
- Build strong supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Establish procurement policies and compliance standards to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Inventory Control & Management
- Lead inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels across multiple locations.
- Implement inventory accuracy programs, cycle counting, and stock audits.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and materials handling.
- ERP System & Technology Enablement
- Leverage ERP systems to streamline procurement, planning, and inventory processes.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting from ERP for informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in inventory and procurement functions.
- Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with finance, production, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies.
- Provide clear leadership, guidance, and training to supply chain and procurement staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in procurement, planning, and inventory management.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems and advanced inventory management practices.
- Demonstrated success in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
