Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and manage master schedules that detail all construction phases, from excavation to handover, using project management software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the baseline plan, and propose corrective actions to keep construction on track.
Allocate and optimize resources—such as manpower, materials, and equipment—to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
Conduct critical path analysis and risk assessments, highlighting potential delays and planning mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with project managers, site teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring all activities are integrated into the overall schedule and goals remain aligned.
Prepare progress and deviation reports for stakeholders, supporting decision-making at management levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is usually mandatory.
Proficiency in scheduling and planning tools, especially Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and Excel.
Strong analytical abilities for performing time-impact and critical path analyses.
In-depth understanding of high-rise construction techniques, sequencing, and logistics.
Excellent communication and coordination skills for dealing with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Five or more years of relevant experience in high-rise or complex building projects is often preferred.
