Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and update project plans, reflecting progress, and changes in scope, time, or cost.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Analyze project delays and provide corrective actions to mitigate impacts.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, resource allocation, and risks to management.
• Conduct project progress meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to plan, track, and manage project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements during the planning and execution of projects.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents, project budgets, and resource plans.
• Evaluate project progress and performance using industry-standard metrics and KPIs.
• Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Post-graduate qualifications in Project Management or related fields (optional but preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly in [relevant sectors, e.g., Refinery,Industrial, commercial buildings].
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
