We’re now looking for a People’s Officer to champion our culture, strengthen our talent engine, and help shape the next phase of Tamasha’s growth journey. Role Overview The People's Officer will be a strategic and hands-on partner responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, championing the unique Tamasha culture, and ensuring all people practices are scalable and aligned with our aggressive business goals. This role requires a balance of operational efficiency, strong employee relations, and an eye for organizational development in a startup context. 🔑 Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Management & Acquisition Support ● Recruitment Partnership: Work closely with department heads and the recruiting team (if applicable) to define hiring needs, refine Job Descriptions, and improve the candidate experience. ● Onboarding & Offboarding: Design and execute engaging onboarding programs that immerse new joiners into Tamasha's culture and ensure a smooth exit process that captures valuable feedback. ● Performance Management: Manage the full performance appraisal cycle, including goal setting, check-ins, feedback collection, and compensation recommendations. 2. Culture & Employee Experience ● Culture Champion: Act as a custodian of the company culture, actively driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and work-life balance in a high-growth environment. ● Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters, providing fair, confidential, and timely resolutions. ● Internal Communication: Facilitate effective internal communications on HR policies, company updates, and engagement activities. 3. Compliance & Operations ● HRIS Management: Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and employee records. ● Policy Implementation: Ensure all company policies and procedures are up-to-date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated across the organization. ● Compensation & Benefits: Manage the administration of compensation, leave, and benefits programs, ensuring equity and competitiveness within the tech/gaming industry. 4. Learning & Development ● L&D Coordination: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal or external programs for skill enhancement and leadership development tailored to a startup’s needs. ● Succession Planning: Assist in identifying key talent and developing retention strategies and internal growth paths. ✅ Required Qualifications & Skills ● Experience: 4-7 years of progressive Human Resources or People Operations experience, preferably in a high-growth Tech, or Startup environment. ● Hands-on Expertise: Proven ability to manage core HR processes end-to-end, including performance management, employee relations, and policy development. ● Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization. ● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and conflict-resolution skills, with a pragmatic, business-focused approach to people challenges. ● Legal Acumen: Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements relevant to a startup. 💡 Why Join Tamasha? ● Be part of a mission-driven company disrupting the interactive entertainment space. ● High impact role where your work directly shapes the employee experience and organizational growth. ● Work in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment alongside IIT alumni founders and marquee investors.
