The Role

Our P&C Business Partner will primarily be responsible for supporting our People Leaders to maximise talent and true performance outcomes for their teams, while supporting the evolution of the people & culture strategy.This role will also have specialist responsibilities relating to Workplace Health and Safety including for Brennan employees.This role will liaise with the Regional Manager, P&C on Business Partner for direction on areas where they are required to provide coaching and advice to improve talent and business outcomes. This role will also have delegated accountability for a small group of team leaders or managers to provide end-to-end advisory support, with the scope expected to increase over time.This role also supports the delivery of projects and programs relating to the employee lifecycle, business growth strategy and continuous improvement. The P&C Business Partner will provide assistance to our Regional Manager, P&C and Senior Leaders as required.The role is diverse and fast-paced, and requires dynamic individuals who are self-motivated, disciplined, ethical and results oriented.

Role Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders in relation to specific employee matters, including performance, talent, engagement, termination of employment (including redundancy), attendance, and development
  • Gauging the employee pulse by regularly connecting with employee and leaders.
  • Responsible for driving a higher performance culture by managing low performers and managing performance engagment plans.
  • Supporting talent mobility and conversations related to employee development and remunerations
  • Ensure all proposed terminations are reviewed/approved by the Regional Manager, P&C to reduce organisational risk
  • Investigate grievances and complaints, recommend and managedisciplinary outcomes as required.
  • Ensure disciplinary actions related to warnings and terminations are actioned on a timely manner.
  • Respond to P&C queries from across the GSC as escalated by the People Operations team and/or other P&C team members
  • Provide direction and support for key P&C lifecycle activities globally, including performance reviews, salary reviews, KPI development and the like
  • Provide interpretation and advice to leaders on people, process, employment relations, and policy matters, including award compliance
  • Provide reporting and project support as required to the People and Culture team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of personnel information, including but not limited to; employee documentation and HR related information (grievances, performance, remuneration and development plans etc).
  • Perform any other duties as required

Key Competencies and Qualifications required

To succeed in this role, you will have the following competencies:
  • Experienced in the provision of coaching and advice to managers on a range of people-related issues such as award compliance, policy interpretation, performance management, and redundancy management
  • End to end experience with annual business activities such as performance and remuneration reviews, KPI development, talent management, engagement surveys
  • Thorough knowledge of India compliance requirements including the National Employment Standards, reporting, and Work Health and Safety
  • High aspirations for continuously improving the employee experience and organisational talent outcomes
  • Experience working in high growth, fast moving environments with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • High level of autonomy and ability to use initiative
  • High emotional intelligence and a customer focussed mindset
  • Innovative, creative and collaborative approach to achieving impactful outcomes
  • High level of confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion in a professional manner
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft 365 in particular MS Excel and various HR software tools to foster creative ideas and a differentiated approach where warranted.
