Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for US employees (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly as applicable).

• Manage payroll activities using

  ADP payroll systems including employee setup, compensation updates, benefits deductions, and wage adjustments.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.

• Handle multi-state payroll, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and terminations.

• Review and validate payroll data accuracy including hours, overtime, leaves, reimbursements, and shift differentials.

• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for employee records, audits, and reconciliation.

• Prepare payroll reports, tax filings, year-end W-2 and W-4 forms.

• Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.

• 6 - 8 years of US payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.

• Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now / ADP Enterprise / ADP Run).

• Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, FLSA, federal & state tax rules.

• Experience with payroll audits, compliance, and automated reporting tools.

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with HRIS and Time & Attendance systems.

• Knowledge of payroll for 1099 contractors is an added advantage.

• CPP certification preferred (not mandatory).
