We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a background in Computer Science or Electronics to join our dynamic team as a Patent Engineer. As a fresher, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

Technical Analysis

·   Evaluate inventions and innovations to determine eligibility for patent protection.

·   Conduct in-depth technical analysis, collaborating with inventors to understand the intricacies of their creations.

·   Assess the novelty and inventiveness of inventions to support patentability.

Patent Drafting:

·   Demonstrate strong patent drafting skills to articulate technical details effectively.

·   Craft detailed and accurate patent applications, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards.

·   Collaborate with inventors to translate complex technical concepts into well-defined patent claims.

Portfolio Management:

·  Manage and maintain a portfolio of patents, making strategic decisions on enforcement, licensing, and maintenance.

· Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of the patent portfolio's alignment with organizational goals.

Collaboration and Communication:

·   Work closely with inventors to gather necessary information and clarify technical details.

·   Communicate effectively with patent examiners, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.

·   Provide clear and concise documentation throughout the patent application process.

·   Patent Prosecution:

·   Respond to office actions from patent examiners, addressing concerns and questions.

·   Strategically navigate the patent prosecution process to achieve favourable outcomes.

Continuous Learning and Development:

·   Stay updated on the latest developments in relevant technologies and patent laws.

·   Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills, particularly in patent drafting.

Qualifications:

·   Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

·   Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

·  Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

·  Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced development environment.

·  Initiative: Proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative in identifying and solving problems.
