Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of ~25 IP professionals in the Engineering domain
  
• Deliver end-to-end IP research services including:
  
• Patentability (novelty) and validity searches
  
• Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) and infringement analysis
  
• Patent portfolio analysis, SWOT, and monetization support
  
• Litigation, prosecution, and office action support
  
• IP due diligence and patent claim mapping
  
• Interact with clients to define project scope and present clear, actionable insights
  
• Conduct patent landscape and trend analysis for strategic and licensing opportunities
  
• Review patents from technical, legal, and commercial perspectives
  
• Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and client satisfaction
  
• Drive team performance, mentoring, and development
  
• Manage key client accounts and support business growth initiatives
  

Experience Required

• 8–10 years of experience in IP research and consulting
• Strong experience in project delivery, client handling, and team leadership
• Prior experience managing medium to large teams (20+ members)
• Hands-on exposure to patent search, analysis, and landscape projects

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
• Adaptability to new technologies and IP processes
  

Technical Skills

• Expertise in patent search tools and online databases
• Good understanding of global patent laws and systems
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and reporting tools
• Strong documentation and analytical reporting skills
  

Education

• B.Tech / M.Tech
