Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Patent Engineers with strong technical and analytical skills to join our patent drafting team. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background and experience in preparing patent specifications, claims, and drawings in compliance with Indian and international patent laws. Excellent read, write and communication in English is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patentability, prior art, and technology landscape searches.
• Draft detailed patent specifications and claims based on invention disclosures.
• Interact with inventors, R&D professionals, and clients to understand inventions comprehensively.
• Assist in patent filing and prosecution before the Indian Patent Office and foreign patent offices.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, flowcharts, and figures to accompany patent applications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IP office requirements and deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• 2 to 5 years of experience in patent drafting or IP-related technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret technical information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patent drafting tools.
• Knowledge of Indian and international patent laws and procedures is an added advantage.
