Role Synopsis

We’re modernizing and simplifying the way we run People and Culture in bp and our Global P&C solutions and services team is at the heart of new ways of working. Every effort is taken to ensure consistency and standardization of the HR processes across the globe. However, we understand that every country has its outstanding legal, fiscal and regulatory requirements and there is a need to support them.The purpose of the Organizational Data Specialist role is to provide mentorship and information to employees, managers and HR on employee and organizational process and data changes, across the breadth of the Workday processes. The specialist administers employee and organizational data changes and handles any associated cases

Key Accountabilities

Maintain bp's organizational structure in Workday (supervisory orgs,Positions, cost centers, etc.) Support on Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)Ensure that employee and organization data integrity in Workday ismaintained, following data management processes and proceduresWillingness to support ad hoc business and Services & Solutions projectwork as the need arises, requiring engaging with other workstreams/ teamsAbility to differentiate between countries and or businesses and businessscenarios of what is needed and when there may be local delivery activityProvide support to a wide range of customers when required and respond toinbound queriesIdentify, raise and apply continuous improvements to servicesEnsure consistency to process maps and standard data input formsSupport the resolution of business critical issuesSupport acceptance testing for Services & Solutions technology changesInvestigate, collaborate closely and resolve sophisticated issues involving multiple systems and partners.Ensure consistency to process maps and standard data input forms.Support team members in resolving operational issues and understandingprocesses.Support the resolution of business issues.Support acceptance testing for P&C Services technology changes.

Essential Education

Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant previous experience in HR Shared servicesenvironmentA university degree or professional qualification, in human resources management or its equivalent

Essential Experience And Job Requirements

Demonstrates capability in line with the HR Capability Framework, with an equal blend of EQ, IQ and drive

Technical Capability

Numeracy & analytical thinking – able to quickly and optimally analyses system generated data to deliver insights and assimilate data and information from a range of sources to inform business insightsPrior experience in HR Shared Service center in a multi-national organizationProven track record in delivering high-quality customer experienceAnalytical thinking –able to quickly and optimally generate and analyze data todeliver accurate and timely information to advise business decisionsDigital fluency - not only comfortable and competent in using technology to e able and enhance ways of working and thinking, also comfortable in the wider digital environment and the collaborate with a business transformation including people, processes and data-driven actions.Risk Management – acts with a high level of integrity and respect for data privacy.Takes steps to mitigate risks in this space and knows when to call out any concerns
