About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced OPT & International Talent Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for OPT/CPT candidates and other early-career international hires. This remote role will drive proactive sourcing, candidate nurturing, and employer-facing advisory on immigration timelines to accelerate placements with US-based teams.Role & Responsibilities
- Source and engage OPT/CPT and international student candidates across LinkedIn, university channels, GitHub, and community networks using Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: screen, assess, coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and close candidates while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
- Advise hiring managers and candidates on OPT timelines, CPT rules, H‑1B windows, and visa sponsorship considerations to align hiring expectations and reduce risk.
- Maintain and update ATS records, pipeline dashboards, and weekly hiring metrics to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with university career centres, student groups, and community organisations to create scalable campus-to-workforce pipelines.
- Own employer branding touchpoints for international talent: job postings, outreach campaigns, email templates, and interview prep resources.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 2+ years recruiting experience with demonstrable work on OPT/CPT or international student hiring (sourcing, screening, closing).
- Proven sourcing skills: Boolean queries, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub/StackOverflow, and passive candidate engagement.
- Practical knowledge of US visa processes (OPT, CPT basics, H‑1B timelines) and ability to counsel candidates and hiring teams.
- Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and strong data hygiene for pipeline/reporting.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong stakeholder management, and candidate-first communication skills—remote work maturity.
Preferred
- Prior campus recruiting or university partnerships experience and familiarity with student communities in India and the US.
- Exposure to US employer hiring practices and visa sponsorship workflows (H‑1B or employer-of-record arrangements).
- Multilingual capability or experience working across time zones to coordinate interviews with US hiring teams.
