Role Summary

overall day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility Operations & Administration

• Ensure smooth daily functioning of the facility including accommodation, housekeeping, food services, security, and maintenance.
• Maintain occupancy readiness (rooms, common areas, utilities, safety equipment).
• Oversee inventory management for consumables, medical supplies, and facility assets.
• Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained (resident files, vendor records, audits).

2. Resident Care & Experience

• Act as the primary point of contact for residents and family members for non-clinical concerns.
• Ensure resident comfort, dignity, safety, and adherence to care protocols.
• Handle resident grievances and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate admissions, room allotment, transfers, and discharges.

3. Staff Management

• Supervise caregivers, housekeeping, security, kitchen, and support staff.
• Prepare duty rosters, leave planning, and shift allocations.
• Monitor staff performance, discipline, grooming, and behavior.
• Coordinate training and ensure adherence to SOPs.

4. Clinical & Emergency Coordination

• Coordinate with nurses, visiting doctors, physiotherapists, and diagnostic partners.
• Ensure emergency preparedness (ambulance tie-ups, emergency contacts, escalation protocols).
• Ensure proper handover during shifts and accurate incident reporting.
• Support implementation of medical and care SOPs.

5. Vendor & Partner Management

• Coordinate with vendors for food, laundry, biomedical waste, maintenance, pest control, and security.
• Ensure timely service delivery and quality checks.
• Verify bills, track contracts, and escalate issues when required.

6. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, fire safety norms, CCTV monitoring, hygiene standards, and internal audits.
• Ensure infection control measures and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Support inspections and audits as required.

7. Reporting & Communication

• Share daily and weekly operational updates with the management team.
• Report incidents, escalations, and risks proactively.
• Maintain MIS related to occupancy, staffing, complaints, and expenses.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare / Hospital Administration preferred)
• Certification or experience in healthcare, hospitality, or facility management is an advantage
• Need to be from medical background.

Experience

• 5–8 years

  of experience in

  assisted living, senior care, hospital operations, or hospitality facility management

• Prior experience managing multi-department teams is essential

Working Conditions

• 6 days working (with rotational weekly off)
• On-call availability for emergencies
• Hands-on, on-site role
