Opportunity For Manager - Business Development

Company Description

Paradise Biryani is a leading biryani and restaurant brand from Hyderabad, now in a high-growth phase to deepen its presence across South India and subsequently expand into North and West India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and finalize new store locations in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other South markets based on commercial, demographic, and brand-fit criteria.
• Build and manage a strong deal pipeline through local broker, developer, and landlord networks.
• Conduct trade area studies and feasibility analyses for prospective sites, including sales and payback potential.
• Lead lease negotiations, commercials, and key clauses in coordination with legal and finance teams
• Coordinate with design, projects, and operations for timely handover, fit-out, and store launch.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activity to refine expansion strategy across South India.
• Drive existing property lease renegotiations to optimize rentals and other commercial terms as and when required.
• Evaluate and execute relocation of underperforming or strategically misaligned stores in consultation with operations and finance.
• Support planning and groundwork for expansion into North and West India once South market priorities are achieved

Desired profile:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in business development, expansion, or real estate roles for QSR, casual dining, cloud kitchen, or organized restaurant/retail brands.
• Deep understanding of South India consumption clusters, especially in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and tier-2/3 towns.
• Strong exposure to site selection, lease negotiations, and end-to-end store opening lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of legal documentation, statutory compliances, and restaurant operational realities; ability to partner effectively with legal and operations teams.
• - Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with a high level of ownership and comfort in a fast-paced growth environment.
