Role Summary

The Workday Functional Consultant Core HCM will be part of Opkeys Accelerator Team and will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Core HCM and related modules. The role requires strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to work across multiple client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in end-to-end Workday Core HCM implementations and support engagements
  • Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM business processes and frameworks
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Design and configure Workday business processes, validations, and security roles
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolution
  • Develop and deliver user training and functional documentation
  • Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage multiple project deliverables

Required Skillsets

  • Strong functional expertise in Workday Core HCM
  • Working knowledge of at least one additional Workday module such as Payroll, Time Tracking, or Absence
  • Experience in business process design and configuration
  • Hands-on experience in system testing and functional validation
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and security configuration
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of data security and privacy compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills

  • Workday Certification in Core HCM or related modules
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
  • Experience working in fast-paced, product-based or SaaS environments
