Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with strong hands-on knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations. The role involves managing day-to-day operational activities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations on a day-to-day basis
• Plan and execute inbound and outbound transportation activities
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers
• Monitor inventory levels, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines
• Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining cost and quality standards
• Track and analyze operational KPIs such as turnaround time, freight cost, inventory accuracy, and service levels
• Implement and follow SOPs, process controls, and operational best practices
• Identify and resolve operational issues and supply chain disruptions (delays, weather impact, route constraints, etc.)
• Support cost optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies
• Prepare operational reports and share regular updates with management
• Lead, guide, and coordinate with operations staff and site teams
• Work closely with procurement, finance, sales, and production teams for smooth operations

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management
• Hands-on experience in transport planning, inventory control, and warehouse coordination
• Ability to manage vendors and negotiate operational terms
• Working knowledge of ERP / logistics tracking systems
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and team coordination abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
