Role Overview

The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial controls, statutory compliance, and reporting. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in accounting, taxation, audits, and financial discipline while supporting management with accurate financial insights.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Oversee GST compliance – returns, reconciliations, audits, notices, and assessments
• Handle TDS, income tax, and statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Prepare and review MIS reports, cash flow statements, and variance analysis
• Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and credit control
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
• Assist management in financial planning and decision-making
• Supervise and mentor accounts team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation laws
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and audits
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems / Excel
• Good understanding of financial controls and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com
• Relevant professional certifications preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
