Role Overview We’re looking for a PR Specialist who can transform stories into headlines and brand moments into cultural conversations. You’ll be responsible for building strong media relationships, securing impactful press coverage, and shaping the public image of both Sorta Famous and our clients. Key Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and leverage relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and industry stakeholders. - Identify PR opportunities and secure placements in top-tier print, digital, and broadcast outlets. - Craft compelling brand stories, press releases, media kits, and pitches tailored to target publications. - Plan and execute PR campaigns aligned with brand strategy and business goals. - Support event publicity, ensuring strong media presence. - Monitor media coverage, track sentiment, and provide timely reports with actionable insights. - Work with the social media team to amplify earned media and integrate PR wins into digital strategy. - Stay updated on industry news, cultural moments, and competitor activities. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. - 2–4 years of PR experience, preferably in luxury, lifestyle, or creative industries. - Strong network of media contacts (India and global). - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Proven ability to secure high-value press placements. - Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
