Job Description

Position Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of rooftop & ground mount solar EPC projects from initiation to commissioning. The role demands excellent leadership, project management, and technical expertise to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Management
○Plan, monitor, and execute rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC projects.
○Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.○Coordinate with design, procurement, and on-site teams for smooth operations.
  • Team Management
○Lead and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
○Assign roles, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
  • Procurement & Vendor Coordination
○Liaise with vendors for timely delivery of equipment and materials.
○Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance
○Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards at sites.
○Conduct regular audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.
  • Client Coordination & Reporting
○Act as the key point of contact for clients during execution.
○Provide regular project updates, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Process Optimization
○Develop SOPs and improve operational efficiency.○Identify bottlenecks and implement cost-effective solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations/Project Management in the Solar EPC industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical layouts.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
