Operations Manager – Jewellery Industry

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the jewellery industry to lead and optimize our operational functions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee end-to-end operations including procurement, manufacturing, quality control, inventory, and logistics. Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all operational processes. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders. Coordinate with design, sales, and marketing teams to align operational capabilities with business goals. Implement and monitor SOPs for all operational areas ensuring compliance and consistency. Lead vendor management, procurement planning, and material sourcing. Ensure quality assurance and adherence to industry standards and certifications. Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement. Manage operational budgets, cost control, and risk assessments. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred). 8–15 years of proven experience in operations management within the jewellery industry . Deep understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and retail processes in the jewellery sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multi-site operations. Preferred Skills:- Expertise in ERP and inventory management systems used in the jewellery sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time-sensitive and high-value production workflows. Knowledge of compliance and certification standards specific to the jewellery industry (e.g., BIS, hallmarking, etc.). Show more Show less
