Job Description

As the Operations Manager for Global Hospitality Services in India at Citi, your role is crucial in leading and managing the general operations teams in alignment with the business strategy and goals. Your primary objective is to enhance productivity, ensure quality, and drive efficiencies within the operations of Global Hospitality Services in India. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage operations excellence and vendor management in diverse culture in India, such as BAU, performance, issue management, and corporate social responsibilities. - Handle stakeholder relations effectively. - Lead and manage the team, acting as a subject matter expert to uplift operations standards and alignment. - Oversee project management, sustainability initiatives, and CoB activities. - Drive continuous service improvement, operational compliance, and global service standards for India GHS products. - Accountable for managing operational budgets, financial/contractual vendor agreements, and identifying efficiency opportunities. - Conduct statistical reporting, data management, governance controls, and metrics reporting to ensure integrity of systems and minimize risk. - Manage reporting/analysis of the regional restricted commodity to ensure consistent governance controls are in place. - Coordinate Compliance guidelines implementation and handle sensitive information confidentially. - Monitor vendors" performance against vendor service evaluation system (KPIs) and develop plans for ongoing evaluation, maintenance, and replacement of facilities and equipment. **Qualifications:** - University degree graduate with a major in hospitality or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience. - On-the-job knowledge is emphasized over qualifications. - Proficiency in MS Office. **Skills:** *Essential* - Excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and judgement. - Strong verbal and written communication abilities. - Structured and organized approach. - Strong leadership and influencing skills. *Desirable* - Administrative literacy. - Project management and change implementation expertise. **Competencies:** - Resilience, adaptability, and ability to remain focused in a fast-moving environment. - Analytical skills to escalate and resolve complex problems. - Time management and teamwork to achieve results. - Comfortable in ambiguous and complex circumstances. - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills.
