Senior Automation Engineer Lead

As a Senior Automation Engineer Lead at our business, you will be responsible for leading the Issuer technology team in testing innovative solutions that meet functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. You will collaborate with product managers, business users, tech leads, and QA teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of projects within specified timelines and quality goals. In this role, you will take ownership of project testing, non-functional testing, and automation testing for Issuer Services projects. You will drive the team to follow best practices, contribute ideas on technology and process improvements, and ensure the team's productivity and success. Collaboration with global teams across various regions is a key aspect of this position, requiring flexibility to attend evening calls as needed. Qualifications for this role include 10+ years of software testing experience, preferably in investment banking software testing, and 3+ years of team management experience, especially with global teams. You should have at least 5 years of automation test development experience in Java or Python, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, is preferred, and financial knowledge or background is considered a plus. Key skills required for this position include a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile principles, leadership experience in managing and mentoring automation/performance QA engineers, expertise in automation test strategy design and implementation, proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium, and strong non-functional testing skills with tools like JMeter and LoadRunner. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, programming languages like Python or Java, SQL, bug tracking systems, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are also essential.
