Project Specialist Role
The Project Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Platform Enablement Team. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end projects for corporate clients and internal partners, focusing on Onboarding, UAT, financial reporting capabilities (Financial Reporting), and operational support across equity administration platforms (Advanced Solutions).Reporting to Platforms Enablement Manager, the Project Specialist ensures efficient and accurate execution of various projects including, but not limited to: client onboarding and product set up, process management, documentation, administration support, quality assurance, client queries, technical problem solving, reporting building, and client facing team support.The ideal candidate is technically proficient and possesses strong communication skills. They excel in building relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders, driving successful project outcomes and contributing to process enhancement and product development. Project Specialist Responsibilities:
> Successful execution of assigned projects across various disciplines including Onboarding, UAT, Financial Reporting, and Advanced Solutions> Provide expertise in equity compensation practices, trends, and programs to clients, assisting in ad hoc and periodic reporting, and maintaining accurate recordkeeping of equity-related data.> Support client relationship management by delivering timely and accurate responses to requests for information.> Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement automated and integrated solutions for equity compensation plans, optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency.> Support data conversion projects to migrate from competitors' platforms, ensuring project deliverables are met and strong client relationships are maintained.> Partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategic solutions for clients, leveraging expertise in equity compensation, automation, and data solutions.> Act as a liaison between internal business partners and clients, ensuring effective communication and successful project outcomes.Project Specialist Qualifications
> Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.> Minimum 3-6 years of experience in equity compensation administration or a related field.> Proficiency in software and web applications, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with a willingness to learn new tools as necessary.> Experience in customer service or client-facing roles, demonstrating the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.> Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.> Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional languages as an asset.> Familiarity with equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts, with a willingness to learn and adapt to international regulations.> Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt to changing priorities.> Enthusiastic and adaptable individual comfortable with learning and working in a fast-paced environment.> Familiarity with stock plan administration systems such as Equity Edge Online, Shareworks or Global Intelligence is preferred but not required.> Certification such as CEP Level 1 is desirable but not required.What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley
