Job Description

Roles and Responsibility
  • Coordinate and manage ocean freight operations, including shipping and receiving.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of freight movements.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable rates and terms.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of ocean freight regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
